What makes it singular, however, is not just the technology. It is the room itself and the history behind it.
A Room With A History
In the 1950s and 60s, The May Fair Hotel was owned by the Danziger Brothers, Hollywood film impresarios whose instinct for spectacle transformed the building entirely. Within its walls stood a private cinema, a theatre, and one of the hotel's most legendary features: a pool bar whose residents were live caiman crocodiles.
The crocodiles are long gone. The sense of occasion is not. The Screening Room carries that history in the quality of its finishes, the scale of its ambition, and the particular feeling, still present when the lights go down, that something worth watching is about to begin.

The Screening Room seats 201 guests in custom-designed Italian leather seats, each with generous legroom, integrated armrests, and a fold-out writing table. Every seat has been positioned for unobstructed sightlines throughout the auditorium. It is a room designed to be comfortable enough that guests forget they are working, and impressive enough that they remember where they are.
Connected to The Crystal Ballroom
The Screening Room connects directly to The Crystal Ballroom via a short staircase, one of London's most celebrated ballrooms, accommodating up to 370 guests for a reception or 260 for a seated dinner. The two spaces together offer a combination that very few London venues can provide: a world-class auditorium and a grand reception room, under the same roof, managed by the same team.
A private breakout area adjoins The Screening Room on the same level, providing space for registration, catering, and between-session networking.
